Y3 Pendle Christmas Party Day
Wed 16 Dec 2020Today year 3 had a great day filled with fun and games for our Christmas Party Day. The class enjoyed a Christmas film in the morning and then went into the hall in the afternoon for dancing and games. -
Year 6 Everest - Soup Making
Wed 16 Dec 2020For the past two days, Year 6 have been using their best culinary skills to create their final DT project - soup. Over the past half term we have focused on food, exploring seasonality, sustainability, the ‘Eat Well Plate’ and finally designing and making a soup. The recipes were fantastic and incorporated some fabulous ingredients - they smelt and tasted delicious. The children learnt and showcased some fantastic culinary skills; well done to Year 6 and a huge thanks to Mrs Swansbury who helped us! -
Year 2 enjoy Party Day
Tue 15 Dec 2020Today was party day for Year 2, and we certainly showed that we know how to let our hair down and enjoy ourselves ! We had great fun dancing and playing games and we had lots of spot winners . We all looked great in our Christmas Party clothes and we had lots of fun! -
Elm Class - Making Christmas Decorations
Tue 15 Dec 2020After our work on puppets earlier this term we thought we would put all our skills together to make a Christmas Decoration. We had to remember our sewing skills and our sticking skills too!

Celebrating 50 Years of Primrose Hill in Ben Nevis Class
Fri 11 Dec 2020This week was really important in Ben Nevis Class as we celebrated Euxton Primrose Hill turning 50! To learn more about life over the past few years and how things have changed, children were all given a decade to research. With this information, children created some fantastic presentations all about their decade! -

Elm Class - Celebrating 50 years of Primrose Hill.
Fri 11 Dec 2020We had a great day this week when we celebrated the news that our school has been officially welcoming children for 50 years !
It was a great day, finding out all about time long ago, and we discovered that the school was older than Miss Pearson (but only just !).
Elm class decided to make a panel representing all the years that Primrose Hill has been a school. We also had a party lunch which was delicious !

Pendle 50 Years Anniversary Celebration
Thu 10 Dec 2020To celebrate Primrose Hill’s 50 year anniversary, Pendle Class took a look back at the past 5 decades and key events that had happened during this time. In pairs, they chose an event or decade to research and used the green screen to create a short video.

Year 5 science
Thu 10 Dec 2020On Tuesday and Wednesday Mont Blanc and Olympus had a whole day of science covering sound. It became a little noisy at times however a great deal was learned about what sound is, how it travels and why protecting our ears is important.
