  • Italy Day in Pendle Class

Sun 06 Feb 2022 Mrs Kanski

Pendle Class had a fantastic Italy Day! We really enhanced our Geography topic, learning all about the places and cultures of Italy. Children loved coming to school wearing the colours of the Italian flag, enjoyed making 3-D maps, researched landmarks, tasted Italian food and even spoke Italian! This has really inspired the children and I have been blown away by the fantastic Italy presentations the children have produced for their homework. Well done Pendle Class!

Over the half term the children used their knowledge of materials and created their own boats. They tested them out to see if they floated and even put in some passengers inside to see if their boat was strong enough to keep afloat.
