European Languages Day in Ben Nevis- Spain
Fri 08 Oct 2021The children in Ben Nevis have had a brilliant day learning all about Spain. In the morning, the children learnt Spanish phrases and tried Spanish food. In the afternoon, the children were given the task of creating a poster for the Spanish tourism board.

Forest school in Cedar Class

Fri 08 Oct 2021Cedar class have had an amazing day learning about Greece.
We have learnt to say ‘hello’ and ‘good morning’ in Greek, performed a Greek dance, tasted some Greek food and found Greece on the world map.

Y2 Elm Harvest Collection
Thu 07 Oct 2021The families from Elm Class have been very generous in their Harvest Donations. It has been wonderful to see our Harvest Table growing so quickly.
All our Donations are going straight to families who need it whilst Living Waters Food Bank do a fantastic job distributing the food.

Y2 Elm DT - making puppets
Thu 07 Oct 2021Elm Class have had so much fun over the last few weeks making puppets. We designed them so that the puppet would help a younger child to learn a nursery rhyme and I think you’ll agree we have done a fantastic job.
We have lots of Incy Wincy Spiders, Queen of Hearts and even some cows that might jump over the moon.
Our sewing skills have really improved. Well done Elm Class !

Reverend Phil visit
Tue 05 Oct 2021This week the children have been learning about the Harvest Festival. Reverend Phil came to talk to us about how Christians celebrate Harvest. We sang songs, talked about growing vegetables and some children dressed up in a potato suit!

Studying Anglos Saxon Artefacts
Mon 04 Oct 2021The children in Year 4, had an interesting afternoon looking at Anglo Saxon artefacts.
The children were asked what they thought each of these artefacts were used for and what they were made from. There were some excellent historical discussions.

Super Saxon Day for Snowdon Class
Fri 01 Oct 2021Snowdon class travelled back through time this week and visited a Saxon village, Mere Tun. All of them helped the villagers in their day to day activities of foraging, weaving, thatching and weapons training. They really did do Primrose Proud!
