  • Design Technology in Year 6

Fri 11 Jun 2021 Mrs Goodyear

Since returning to school after our half-term break, the children in Everest have been working hard on their design technology projects. The children had to design and manufacture a moving vehicle, using their woodwork skills and knowledge gained from our Science topic. After looking at vehicles and exploring deconstructed models, the children explored how the Red Bull Racing Team go through the design process when making a new F1 car. In their groups, the children have been working hard to design and manufacture, using their maths skills to make a 3D net to add to their chassis. We can’t wait to complete this project next week and have a race in the lower hall.
